Central Kowloon Route Will Open in December 2025

Fantastic news for anyone who has had to cross Kowloon during rush hour (or any time of day for that matter)! The first 4.7km section of the Central Kowloon Route between Yau Ma Tei and Kai Tak will open to traffic next month. The tunnel will slash journey times from 30 minutes to 5 minutes. CDC have provided support to several contractors on this complex project helping them manage contractual risk and supporting commercial negotiations.
