June opening set for key MTR link

The cross harbour portion of MTR’s new Shatin Central line is nearing completion – a massive undertaking with some very challenging individual projects. Target opening announced for June 2022. This new line will form a new North South Line for Hong Kong to complement the East-West Tuen Ma Line officially opened last year. CDC have been assisting contractors on several of the SCL projects throughout construction.
