About this Project
The project involves construction of a luxury hotel comprising extensive site formation works, piling and construction of two 10-storey towers on a three-level podium. The hotel provides 425 guest rooms, five dining areas and a pool. CDC provided EOT claims preparation, contract advice and negotiation support to the contractor throughout the project construction. Issues included ground conditions impacting the site formation works, delayed possession, delays to statutory approvals, impact of a major typhoon, additional works and design changes. CDC also presented issues to the Client and architect to negotiate the EoT assessments during the course of the project.
