About this Project
The Tseung Kwan O to Lam Tin Tunnel comprises the construction of a 2.2km long dual two-lane tunnel connecting Kwun Tong and Tseung Kwan O utilizing drill and blast and mechanical excavation techniques. The project also includes the construction of the Lam Tin interchange and administration buildings and bridges adjacent to the Tseung Kwan O portal. The project is a strategic part of the future Route 6 which will link Tseung Kwan O with West Kowloon via the Central Kowloon Route.
CDC were engaged to prepare a claim strategy paper to identify potential recovery options for time and cost on the main tunneling and lining works.
