CDC team scale new heights to raise money for the Lighthouse Club
FOUR MEMBERS OF CONTRACT DISPUTE CONSULTANTS (CDC) ARE SET TO SCALE THE PEAK OF MALAYSIA’S HIGHEST MOUNTAIN TO RAISE MONEY FOR A GOOD CAUSE.
Director David Feehan, along with team members Judy Gin, Nga Yan Yu and Simon Wilde, will join chairperson of the Lighthouse Club Hong Kong Region, Cordia Yu, to travel to Malaysia late April to climb Mount Kinabalu.
The Lighthouse Club is a global organisation which provides charitable assistance to those in need within the construction industry and to their dependents. Formed in England in 1956, since 1986 the group has had a branch in Hong Kong.

“We are really excited about tackling this challenge,” said CDC’s David Feehan, also a member of the Lighthouse Club. “We’ve been in training for over half a year as Mount Kinabula is over 4,000m high, so it’s no pushover.
“The Lighthouse Club does some fantastic work particularly for the families of workers who have lost their lives or been injured on construction sites. Many construction workers’ families do not have a financial safety net when their main bread winner has an accident. We are proud to be able to help raise funds that will help them do their vital work.”
If you would like to support CDC’s fundraising drive, you can go to the Just Giving Page. 100% of your donation will go to the trusts of the Lighthouse Club to assist the families or children who have suffered from financial hardship due to accident or illness of their family members who worked in the construction industry. For donations over HK$100, it is possible to request a receipt from the Lighthouse Club for tax exemption purposes.
