Harmony Redevelopment, Hong Kong
- Client: Gammon Engineering and Construction
- Value: HK$1.6 billion / US$200 million
About this Project
The Harmony Redevelopment project (now called Lee Garden Three) in the heart of Causeway Bay’s retail and commercial district comprised construction of a 27-storey commercial building with a five floor retail podium and underground parking.
CDC provided claim research and drafting services to the main contractor, reviewing and strengthening the existing claims, identifying new claim impacts, undertaking delay analysis and assisting the contractor’s team in closing out the final account. CDC also provided extensive assistance in negotiations with the architect and client, preparing and delivering a series of presentations and advocating for the contractor in negotiations to close out both EOT and delay recovery cost claims. All commercial issues on the project were settled through negotiation.
