About this Project
The project includes the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of the Power Transmission Platform comprising Step Up Power Transformers, Auxiliary Transformers, and Station Service Transformers and associated auxiliaries, cabling, gas insulated switchgear, panels and structures along with connections to the overhead grid and underground high voltage cables. The installation would service the new Hinkley Point C nuclear power station, the largest project in Europe.
CDC advised the contractor on a claim for delayed access to the Works and prepared a presentation in support of negotiations.
