About this Project
Beautyworld station was part of the Downtown Line Stage 2 scheme, linking Bukit Timah Corridor to the North East Line, North South Line and Circle Lines.
The project comprised the design and construction of two MRT tunnels with a total length of 2,000m, a new underground station with entrances and external landscaping. The works required the use of two slurry TBMs, controlled blasting and the installation of secant bored piles.
CDC undertook a review of the GIBR contract provisions for the Contractor.
