- Client: Gammon Engineering and Construction Limited
- Value: HK$2 billion / US$250 million
About this Project
The project involves construction of a state-of-the-art all-weather water park at Tai Shue Wan incorporating 27 indoor and outdoor attractions and all E&M fit out. CDC provided full time on-site support to the contractor throughout the construction phase of the project. This included claims preparation and contract advice with regard to delayed possession, delays to statutory approvals and design changes, and also supporting negotiations for a supplemental agreement. CDC also provided input to the site and senior management teams on dispute and claims strategy undertaking a full commercial review of the project and associated systems. The significant extension of time and prolongation cost claims were substantially settled prior to the completion of construction.
